![]() This is it, coming down to the wire! We shoot in one week!!! Looking forward to a great time, and thanks everyone, for your continued support! Like the Facebook Page!! Hey everyone, we're doing it! We've gotten $25,000 of $40,000 locked and have an agreement pending between a production company that will produce the entire film for less than $30,000 down in Florid
We have begun reaching out to find companies or individuals interested in sponsoring the film. The Executive Summary and business information is finished, and we are beginning to get financing so we can shoot the film in January and February.
Martin Bentsen's first feature film, Mozart of Rap, has been finished! We have copyrighted it and launched the Kickstarter campaign. If you would like to donate any money, we would greatly appreciate it! Please click this link to watch a short video about the film!
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/martinbentsen/mozart-of-rap We have now officially attached Kevin Gage to the film! Additionally, Mike Santi is attached, playing the role of Jonathan Black. Looks like things are really starting to shape up!
We have finally finished the initial parts of the pre-production phase. The script has now been broken down and we will begin location scouting soon.
Michael Santi, Joe Antinura, and Andrew Roth are beginning the process of contacting investors to get funding for the film. Martin Bentsen and Sa-Rawla Stoute are working on putting together the creative details to ensure that everything comes together so we can begin production in January! Here we go! We are off to a roll, and Dakota is beginning to take shape. The business prospectus is nearly complete and we will begin contacting investors, advertisers and funders. If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming involved with the film, please use the contact page to get in touch with us.
We are beginning a social media ground swell marketing scheme, where we begin contacting everyone and trying to build a ground swell through contests and games, along with promotional materials for the film. Let the pre-production begin! Hey everyone! Just wanted to update you all on the promotion of the movie and what is happening. So far, so good. Things are moving along smoothly. We are now getting back to all the responses to the kickstarter campaign and beginning the process of moving over to IndieGogo as a means of getting a smaller amount of money to really start the promotions of this film. Along with this whole idea of promoting the movie, we have just finished out first interview with Scott Geiter, who did an excellent phone interview with Martin Bentsen this morning. Please check it out and in the comments section, let us know what you think!! Interview with Scott Geiter for Dakota This is a sad day for all of us. We have decided that it would be best to move Dakota to next year, as it is not in our best interest to shoot a rushed film and not have it be as good as it can be.
We will continue promoting the film to everyone across the country so that by the time next year comes around, everyone will know about this film! Thank you all for your continued support, and |
